Rev. Brooks Dedication Service

We had a very fun weekend. Saturday was Jadon's birthday party and that evening we attended my friend's wedding. Sunday we traveled to Mississippi to see Rev. Hicks at Rev. Brook dedication service. It was so special to see her up close and hear some great word. They had a small gathering after church in the fellowship hall for cake and punch.

Day 7*31 Day prayer for Husbands

*Aug 3 Day 7 - Pray that your husband will safeguard his heart against inappropriate relationships with the opposite sex. Pray that his heart would be pure and undivided in his commitment to you.

Rom 13:14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

Prov. 6:23-24 For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light,
...and correction and instruction are the way to life, keeping you from your neighbor’s wife, from the smooth talk of a wayward woman... For a prostitute can be had for a loaf of bread, but another man’s wife preys on your very life.

Day 6- 31 day prayer for husband

*Aug 2 Day 6 - Pray that your husband will love righteousness and hate wickedness, especially the evils of the culture. Pray that he will recognize and avoid wickedness in his own life, and if necessary, take a clear, strong stand against evil.

Prov. 27:12 A prudent man sees evil and hides himself, The naive proceed and pay the penalty.

John 17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from... the evil one.

1 Cor. 10:12-13 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall. No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
